David Palmada “Pelut” is one of the climbers that has been collaborating with us in the last phase of development of the Totem Cams, testing them on his hard aid climbs from all over the globe before starting selling them. Pelut is one of the more enthusiastic aid climbers from Europe and a complete hunter of the hardest routes on that style. In the last years he has repeated some of the most complex aid routes in Europe and United States: Tramuntana (A4/7a) on Picu Urriellu, Intifada (A6) on Fisher Towers, El mirall impenetrable (A5) on Montserrat, Al infierno con el diablo (A4/6b) on Peñon de Ifach …
He also has been on the cutting edge opening new routes and trying to reach the highest difficulty on the aid routes. Routes like Brothers on the wall (A5/6B) on Montserrat, Sensacions (1800M,C4,M6,6C+,60º) on Baffin or Ojú Peligru (A6+) on the Fisher Towers have been recently opened by Pelut.
It is a complete pleasure to have Pelut in the Totem Team. Thank you!!! Here is some more information about David Palmada “Pelut”:
